My husband and I recently bought a very old home in historical Camden, SC and I was really wanting to give our furniture a new look. However, with all of the money put into our new home our funds were limited. So, rather than buying new pieces of furniture we decided to give the furniture we already had a new look. After several days of “Googling” I came across Red Barn Services. Matt Ward painted and distressed our old bedroom furniture giving it a shabby chic look for our new home. The cost was reasonable and I could not have been more pleased with the work he did. It was exactly what I had asked for and more…just beautiful!!

Taken from our barn after years of neglect, Matt brought these family pieces back to museum quality and our daughter was delighted to receive, “not the crusty old hand-me-downs” from the barn, but elegant, period chairs that are the centerpiece of her dining room. I had a dining room table that was ruined by nail polish remover & amateur attempts to correct the accident. After getting several expensive quotes from other wood experts, I called Matt & I knew almost immediately that he would do a wonderful job & was reasonably priced. All I can say is that he met & EXCEEDED our expectations! Matt has a passion for his craft & people who have a passion for their work usually put their heart & soul into it. My table actually looks better than it did BEFORE the accident!!!
